Tournament 2010

It is with great regret that the 2010 Wollaton Hall Football Tournament has had to be cancelled, this is due to lack of interest. We have tried very hard to get the tournament on this year, but with the extension of the season and the world cup it has been very difficult. We will endeavour to get the tournament on next year during May, the usual time.

Can i thank everyone who has taken the time to enter and if you can indicate if you are happy for me to destroy your cheque or if you wish for it to be returned. I hope you will join us next year, good luck for the new season!!

U14 Sunday players required for 2010/11 season

Our 'Green' team, who were joint runners-up in the YEL U13 Sunday Division 2 in 2009/10, are currently looking for new players. Please contact Paul Smith on 0783 7574567 if you are interested.

Tournament Postponed

Due to the extended season caused by the bad winter weather, it has been decided to postpone the Wollaton Hall YFC Football Festival until June (exact dates to be confirmed).

New Players Required

Our Under 10 Yellow team, who currently play in the Young Elizabethan League Saturday Division 1, are now looking for new players in preparation for moving to 11-a-side next season. We are particularly looking for experienced defenders.

Goalkeeper Training

Goalkeeper coaching will start Monday 7th September at 6.00 on the training area at Wollaton Park. It will be for 1 hour for an initial period of 6 weeks. The main focus will be on the technical aspects to goal keeping. All welcome, but please let Ash Nason know in advance if you wish your goalkeeper to attend.
